WE're at Proteus Gowanus listening to cricket calls, wondering if we'llbe able to distinguish one call from another. Some of these creatures soundvery faint....Mikhail Iliatov helped me download the sounds into myblackberry and also brought some mp3 players for people to listen to whilston the canal. WE're leaving shortly to get the canoes out of the shippingcontainer where they live and then to embark. We;ll be meeting moreexpeditioners over there. Right now we are Mikhail, Reuben, David, Abigail,Anne and Adam. This is our last communication from land, more or less....
